Inside The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is the infamous restaurant Blue Bayou. As you ride along through the attraction, to the right you can see the guests dining at the restaurant on a patio like setting. Every time you ride Pirates you are sure to hear someone in your boat talk about the restaurant. My first experience at the Blue Bayou was very enjoyable, yes th menu is the most expensive in the park but I suggest everyone to try it at least once. Our reservations were made about a month in advance. When we arrived we waited a short time and were seated right by the entrance, go figure. The best place to sit would be right by the water where the boats go by. The famous Monte Cristo sandwich is a must have, but it is only served during lunch hours. The gumbo served as a starter is also a must when dining at the Blue Bayou. If you are at the park and don’t have a reservation for the Blue Bayou you can eat at restaurant with a similar menu for a somewhat lower price called Cafe Orleans.
