“Underground” City in Walt Disney World

There are so many secrets in the world of Disney, one being the idea of an underground city in Disney world. It is said that Disney world is actually on the 2nd floor and the 1st floor is actually home to the underground tunnels providing access all over the park for cast members. The tunnels also known as utilidors are used as a walkway for cast members so that tomorrow land cast doesn’t need to walk through fantasy land dressed as a cowboy for example. The cast can just pop up in the land where they belong and know one is the wiser, according to Walt Disney it avoids ruining the illusion that the park is supposed to create. The utilidors are not only home to housing the everyday utilities to run Disney world but also home to a check cashing service, hair salon, cafeterias, rehearsal rooms and offices.
